1. Who we are

CyberShieldZone (cybershieldzone.com) is an independent cybersecurity education portal operated by the CyberShieldZone Team, based in Indonesia.

2. What data we collect

We collect only the minimum necessary:

• Analytics data — via Google Analytics 4: page views, session duration, country/region, device type, referral source. This data is aggregated and anonymised.
• Browser storage — we store your theme preference (light/dark) and language preference (EN/ID) in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device.
• Data breach checker — if you use our breach check tool, your email is sent directly to the Have I Been Pwned API. We do not store, log, or process this email on our servers.

3. Cookies

Google Analytics 4 sets cookies to measure traffic and usage patterns. These are analytics cookies only — no advertising or tracking cookies are set by us directly.

4. Affiliate links

Some links on this site are affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, third-party affiliate networks may set their own cookies to track the referral. We have no control over these third-party cookies.

6. Data retention

Analytics data is retained by Google Analytics for 14 months by default. We do not retain any personal data ourselves.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete data held about you. Since we hold no personal data directly, the most relevant action is to opt out of Google Analytics.

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The date at the top of this page will reflect the latest revision.
